Carrots in Honey and Garlic
The natural sweetness of carrots is enhanced with honey, while the garlic adds a touch of fire.

Ingredients
- 4 carrots
- 4 tablespoons honey
- 2 cloves garlic
- salt and freshly-ground black pepper to taste
Method
Chop the carrots either into thin rings or small sticks.
Crush the garlic and put it in a pan with the honey, pepper and salt.
Heat this mixture on the stove for 2-3 minutes, until the honey is liquid and the garlic cooked.
Toss in the carrots and heat through. Be careful not to overcook them.
Serve on rice or couscous with the honey and garlic sauce poured over the top.
