Hot Banana Compote
Hot bananas and fruit juice: surprisingly good.

Recipe
Ingredients
- 6 firm, ripe bananas
- 300 ml (1/2 pint) thick fruit juice such as apricot or mango
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
- a pinch of pimento
Method
Slice the bananas into chunks.
Put them in a pan with the juice and spices.
Heat the mixture through.
Do not actually cook the bananas, just warm them to an acceptable serving temperature.
Serve with plain yoghurt or Tofu Cream.
